At 19 inches across, the Baby Chinlone Garden Orb is the smallest in the series and the one that moves easily between house and garden. Set it on a hearth, a low coffee table, or an entry bench, or nest it among grasses where it catches light at ground level.
Each multi-strand band is a bundle of parallel hand-forged steel strands. The bands weave over and under one another the way rattan does in a chinlone ball, and where they cross, they frame open triangles and pentagons. It's the same construction Christopher builds at 76 inches for public gardens, scaled down to something you can carry.
The gold-colored powder coat has a metallic shimmer that flashes along each strand as you walk past, and it’s made for life indoors or out. No stand needed: it rests directly on any level surface.
