Improvised Abstract Steel Sculptures

Christopher Thomson hand forges every steel sculpture in his Northern New Mexico studio — small garden sculptures sized for a patio or entryway, statement pieces built to anchor a landscape, and large sculptures installed in public parks, plazas, and private estates nationwide. Each piece is shaped by hand from yellow-hot steel, improvised at the forge rather than poured from a mold. Many of our outdoor sculptures transition indoors just as easily, whether displayed in a garden or brought inside.
