Standing an impressive 62 inches, the Purple Pajo is a dynamic hand-forged steel sculpture that adds a vibrant touch to any garden, landscape, or interior space. Its bold purple hue and graceful form make it an eye-catching piece, whether displayed indoors or outdoors.
The Pajo series, initiated by Christopher Thomson in 2011, is a collection of sculptures where each piece is uniquely crafted. Thomson forges the individual steel rods, known as "pajos," in batches of 40. Over time, the design naturally evolves during the forging process. Later, in a reflective and creative moment, three elements are arranged together on a spiraled base. The result is a sculpture that feels both lyrical and meditative, with a graceful movement that dances in the wind.
Each sculpture is meticulously handcrafted in our blacksmith studio in Northern New Mexico, using 95% recycled steel and finished with a durable powder coating to ensure lasting beauty.
