Pajos Gate

I forge individual “sticks” of my pajo sculptures quickly, passionately, mindlessly. Later I compose them in threes attached to a spiral base. I was pleased when an art collecting couple commissioned me to incorporate Pajos into gates for their courtyard.  The random "of a type" interaction of shape and texture intrigues me in the individual sculptures and the groupings in their gates enhanced that effect—like clumps of grasses in a field or willow thickets along the river.
